Simply "Bead"-azzled
Sorry but I couldn't help the title.
I haven't blogged on here for soooo long so here goes.
- I snipped and ripped this Alice Starmore Aran sweater, which was miles too big for anyone, and I mean ANYONE.
- I washed, kool aid dyed, hung to dry, then whipped the skeins into circles of yarn ready for the knitting.
- Went to the library where I stumbled on Heavenly handmade bags by Sue Hawkins
- Raked through my bead stash for the right beads and my wool stash for the right wool to make the little stems for the aforementioned beads.
- I knitted, attached beads, made picot edging and literally couldn't put it down until it was done
- Didn't have 5.5mm DPN's to finish the bottom so improvised.... who will notice the last 4 rows , on the under side, are not EXACTLY the same tension as the rest of the bag?
- Lovvin' this bag totally. It jangles like mad when it's moved drawing attention to itself. It's different and I like that.

Don't you just love it when a plan works?
