Reclaimed lambswool makes Toddler cardigan!!

My 2 year old's "birthday cardigan" -- Milly Mop from Rowan's "Tadpoles and Tiddlers" book. Made from 100% recycled components -- the yarn is from a lambswool sweater I unravelled and the buttons are from another cardigan that I took apart.



This was taken before blocking. It's drying now and she'll wear it to the annual familial Christmas Eve gathering.

Acorn Turnip Tea Cozy

I finally made my tea cozy from an old felted sweater that I've been planning to do for the last several years.



I decided to needle-felt an acorn on the front using leftover bits of roving.



It came out looking like a turnip!
