Jar Cover
I made this simple cover to dress up a jelly jar so that I could use it as a vase for some artificial flowers, but it could also be used as a pencil cup or to hold cutlery for a picnic. It's a great little project for recycling scraps of yarn and food packaging. Knit a square and sew the sides together or use a swatch, an orphan afghan square or potholder to make one.
If you'd like to knit a copy of this one, come visit my blog where I've posted the pattern for everyone along with a list of suitable containers to try.
